Way To Glow: Choosing and using bronzer
by Daniel Sandler
There is no better way to extend your summer glow than with some perfectly applied bronzer. Lightly dusted onto areas that would naturally kissed by the sun, bronzer can make even the pastiest skin look healthy and gorgeous.
Thanks to science, there is truly a bronzer for everyone, but with so many different formulas and consistencies, it can be tricky working out which is the best for you. Never fear, my guide to the perfect bronze glow is here:
 | Look for pressed bronzing powders that aren’t too shimmery Good for: Oily skins, Creating definition – use it to accentuate your cheekbones and slim your nose, a lovely sheer effect Not so good for: Older skins as it can look powdery and dull |
| Look for waterproof creams – especially at the beach or if you perspire a lot Good for: Dry skin, Mixing with foundations, A sheer finish Not so good for: Skin with a lot of wrinkles | |
| Look for liquid or cream shimmer as they are easier to control when applying Good for: Highlighting areas of the face and body such as the cheekbones, eyelids, collarbones or shins. Not so good for: Chin, nose, jawline or anywhere that just shouldn’t be shiny! |
| Look for colour that shows up instantly so you don’t get any nasty surprises later in the day. Good for: Most skin types Not so good for: Contouring or highlighting | |
