Red lips are a party season essential!
Top Lip Tips
Always start with well conditioned lips. Apply a good lip balm day and night and scrub gently with an old toothbrush to get rid of little flakes.
If your teeth aren’t white then be careful not to use a red that makes them look grey-er or more yellow. Some say that blue hued reds make teeth look whiter but I disagree and think that pinker reds do the trick.
Fuller lips need dark, matt tones to avoid overpowering the rest of the face
Faking Full Lips
You might think red lips are only for fuller lipped ladies, but all you need is a little know-how!
- Go for a bright shade of red.
- A little foundation over the entire lip may help to plump/increase the lip size.
- Line with a slightly darker pencil just outside your natural shape.
Your Ideal Shade of Party Red
Fair skin needs an orangey red such as Daniel Sandler High Impact lipstick in Torch
Olive skin suits pillar box reds such as Daniel Sandler Luxury Lipstick in Temptress
Dark skin really pops with brown reds such as Daniel Sandler Line n Lacquer in Rare Rubies.
