Professional brushes usually have long handles and are a pain to fit into your bag or purse, Daniel Sandler brushes are designed to not take up too much room. For the price, you’re getting a terrific brush that easily compares to more expensive brands of the same quality.
Why natural hair for some brushes and synthetic for others?
Certain makeup formulas need synthetic hair for great results. Wet products such as foundation and fluid blushers work better with synthetic (Daniel only uses Taklon in his) whereas pressed eye shadows and pressed powder blushers go on more evenly when using natural hair.
What’s so special about Taklon??
It is a revolutionary new nylon, made from a mix of 3 of the finest synthetic hairs that together guarantee a sheer and even finish.
Daniel’s top tips for caring for your brushes
- Wash your brushes regularly (at least once a week) in warm, soapy water.
- Rinse well under the cold water tap.
- Squeeze out excess water using a clean piece of kitchen paper.
- Make sure the hairs are all going in the same direction as when you first got them.
- Leave brushes overnight to dry.
Daniel says ”I absolutely swear by my brushes, they are so well made and fit into your hand so easily that you’ll get great results just like a Pro Makeup Artist.”
