• Rosehip seed oil (rosa canina) - Extracted from the seed of the rosehip, essential fatty acids (Omega 3 & 6) help to build skin cell membranes and to repair, strengthen and hydrate the scalp and hair shaft.  Antioxidants of Beta Carotene and Lycopene fight free radical damage and help heal and restore the skin cell.
• Shea butter fruit (butyrospermum parkii) - This silky smooth butter comes from the fruit of the African Karite tree and has remarkable nourishing and soothing properties. Shea butter is excellent in counteracting dryness as it helps to literally bind moisture to the scalp and hair shaft.  It is well tolerated by the skin, and has a slight photo-protective action.  It is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and a high content of antioxidant Vitamin E.
• Marshmallow root (althea offinalis) - Extracts of this reedy marsh plant—whose gum-like qualities led ancient physicians to treat inflammation with its leaves, is famed for its ability to soothe irritated skin. It helps promote a healthy scalp and its high content of mucilage helps soften the hair.
• Green Tea leaf extract (camellia sinensis) - The leaves are steamed immediately after picking to prevent any natural degradation of the vitamins and polyphenols (active antioxidants), which they contain. It has excellent antioxidant properties that help to neutralize free radicals, which can cause damage to the scalp and hair shaft, particularly during exposure to the sun.
